well its flower time of year again, something I found in the neighbors Dahlia garden tonight of interest. The illumination, as always is natural light, in this case sunset backlighting a flower. The flowers real name is Christmas Carol, one of so many different types of Dahlias. I know I know, another flower picture, but as always they are so pretty to look at and share. Thank you for taking the time to peek as always.
this picture would not have been possible without the prompting and perfect eye of my dear Mom, this is one of the last wishes she had from me, was a copy of one of my limited 10 print run of this picture, I gave her number one just the other day but she can no longer see as she is nearing her lifes end of terminal brain cancer at the age of 51. 2 weeks ago we were talking walking and living our lives and now my life is changing and this picture is an incredibly special last memory of my Mother and I, the woman whom bore me and filled me with love and helped to form me into the person I am; I love my Mom with all my heart and pray that her pain will be but a distant memory and that whatever may heppen that God makes her life a Miracle as it certainly was meant to be.

I pray my mom knows just how much she is both missed and loved.
All my love always,

awesome presentation here.. almost looks like some kind of alien lifeform.. the lights give this piece a mysterious and intriguing beauty! makes it looks so different from normal flower shots..
the choice of the black background and the plant being off center adds lot too
gorgeous...love the color, and this seems to have a light or something on it. it's gorgeous, i love the way the yellow glows.
Great work
